Description
Art, nature, gardens and preschoolers combine for a program full of fun and creativity. In this class, preschoolers will view pieces of sculpture in the Pope collection, including the animal sculptures of Antoine-Louis Barye, and then create their own clay sculpture to take home. Activities may be messy; children should dress accordingly. Winter/spring session continues Apr. 28 and May 19; Fall session runs Sept. 15, Oct. 20 & Nov. 17). Open to children ages 4—7. Chaperones are not required to stay for the class, but are welcome at no charge. Reservations required: call Marcie Charest at 860.677.4787 ext 142.
